Summary: Although L. Ron Hubbard said Scientology OT’s are “willingly and knowingly at cause over matter, energy, space, and time” the fact is that OT’s have power over nothing are and subject to death; taxes; illness; being sent to prison if they are convicted of crimes; and face every other insult and injury of human life.
Scientologists who pay >$500,000 to reach the top level of OT8 have no super powers of any kind whatsoever.
This article continues our coverage of OTVIII James Spina who accepted a plea deal with the US DoJ.
The terms of the plea deal call for Spina to serve nine years in prison for a years-long financial fraud in which he participated with other Scientologists to defraud US taxpayers of $80 million for medical services that were never delivered.
OTVIII James Spina offers us yet more proof that a culture of criminality and cover up exists inside the Scientology Cult. As we have long said, the only crime inside of Scientology is getting caught.
If a Scientologist is engaged in crimes and Scientology finds out, the Cult will not report the crime to secular authorities as such an act goes against policy established by L. Ron Hubbard.
In our previous article, we explained how Scientology OTVIII and convicted felon James Spina, 66, is fighting his nine year prison sentence for financial crimes. Spina is presently serving his time in a US Federal prison.
Spina was a chiropractor and the mastermind of an $80 million dollar Medicare scam. He signed a plea deal for nine years instead of facing a criminal trial in which he could have been sentenced to decades in prison. Now Spina wants to renege on his deal with the Feds and argues, among other things, ineffective assistance of counsel.
OTVIII James Spina does not like the prospect of serving at least eight more years behind prison walls at age 66.
L. Ron Hubbard wrote of the State of OT:
If we take Hubbard’s claims for the State of OT at face value, James Spina should be able to so completely control matter, energy, space, and time that he could literally walk through the solid walls of prison. Nothing could stop him. However, OT is a lie and he sleeps in a prison bunk each night behind concrete walls.
OT James Spina’s incarceration utterly falsifies the State of OT as he is at cause over nothing. The prison in which he is incarcerated imposes upon him the highly regimented rules which govern and dictate every minute of his daily existence.
The 2022 death of OTVIII Kirstie Alley, and so many other OT’s including Chick Corea, Kelly Preston, Isaac Hayes, and L. Ron Hubbard himself falsify Hubbard’s claims for the State of Operating Thetan.
If a Scientology OT were at cause over matter, energy, space, and time then they would be able to overcome body death itself.
Body death is inevitable and all OT’s now living will die.
Scientology OT’s must pay taxes like everyone else.
OT’s also get sick like everyone else. Kirstie Alley, Kelly Preston, and Chick Corea were famous OT’s who died from cancer in the past few years; Scientology’s claimed OT powers over the physical universe offered them absolutely no immunity or protection from this awful disease.
In 2023, OTVIII Doug Dohring, founder of ABC Mouse and father of actor Jason Dohring, died at age 66 of cancer. Before his death, he had to pay a $10 million fine to the FTC for engaging in false and deceptive business practices.
The fact that Scientology OT’s, and the Church of Scientology itself, are not actually at cause over much of anything prove the State of OT to be a lie.
The millions of dollars per month Scientology spends on lawyers and private investigators prove the State of OT to be a lie.
David Miscavige’s statements that L. Ron Hubbard’s transcriptionists issued flawed books and tech in need of correction is yet more evidence that OT does not exist. This is so because Hubbard, as the ultimate OT, would have had such mastery over matter, energy, space, and time as to wholly preclude even the slightest possibility of error in the transmission of Scientology’s scripture.
Hubbard himself declared his technology to be absolutely correct in his KSW policy of 1965:
Miscavige released the Basics books package along with the Golden Age of Tech Phases I and II to correct what he said were errors made by others during Hubbard’s lifetime. And yet Hubbard declared in his KSW policy letter of 1965 that Scientology had the correct technology in place. Hubbard was so emphatic on this point that he reiterated it in the 1980 reissue of KSW (HCO PL of 7 February 1965 reissued 27 August 1980 – Keeping Scientology Working).
Miscavige’s changes cannot be reconciled with Hubbard declaring himself to be the infallible “Source” of a technology that liberated humanity from a 75 million year old trap. Moreover, Miscavige’s changes cannot be reconciled with Hubbard stating in KSW that Scientology had the correct technology.
Hubbard was flawed and fallible and never demonstrated any OT abilities. He died in hiding in 1986 following an attempted suicide and a series of strokes.
Scientology is not at cause over much of anything. Indeed, Scientology
cannot stop livestreamers, leaks from within, or its continued repudiation by Western Culture.
What Scientology continues to do is to self-create and perpetuate its own systematic and ongoing collapse and inevitable destruction.
Scientology continues to destroy itself by acting upon its own hellish and insane system of rules.
James Spina’s imprisonment, as well as that of Danny Masterson and the convicted OT8 murderer William Rex Fowler, are just a few examples of the deeply entrenched and pervasive culture criminality that is a structural and institutional part of Scientology.
It took many years, but both Masterson and Spina were brought to justice.
In the process, the internal state of corruption, cover up, and criminality within Scientology was exposed.
We give many examples of this internal culture in our Scientology Rogues Gallery.
The Bottom Line: Scientology continues to destroy itself from within and without because it is based upon revenge, violence, and a deeply delusional set of rules which sum to a deep institutional insanity.
The Government’s answer to James Spina’s useless attempt to vacate his prison sentence illustrates just how pathetic the self-admitted criminal Scientology OTVIII James Spina actually is:
